Old Salt Buddy is buddy that can be used in Valorant. The buddy was added on 2021-03-02 which is in act 2 of episode 2 (Formation). The item could be obtained in the Battlepass of the indicated season ( FORMATION: ACT 2 Tier 45). It is not a reward in any contract. It cannot be purchased with in-game currency.
